A Note from Lex
Dear Partners,
As you may know, change is on the horizon for CHCC. With the SNAP-Ed program coming to an unexpected close, I will also be stepping away from my role as SNAP-Ed Nutrition Coordinator. It’s not easy to say goodbye to work that has meant so much to me, but I want to take a moment to reflect on my time with gratitude.
Over the last four years, I have had the privilege of working alongside some incredible schools, families, community partners, and colleagues. I have had the opportunity to teach over 2,000 youth during my time in York County and have hosted more than 40 series-based curricula for adults. The countless memories I have made in my classes will stay with me as this chapter of my career comes to an end.
While we will no longer have Maine SNAP-Ed, the spirit of the work—creating opportunities for positive growth, empowering communities, and supporting learners of all ages—will continue through the people and partnerships that made it all possible. I am proud of the work that has been accomplished in York County and so grateful to have been a part of it.
Thank you for welcoming SNAP-Ed into your classrooms, organizations, and communities. It has been a joy to complete this work alongside you.
Best wishes,
Lex
